Artest will be onsite between 2-3pm for Lunch, Autographs, and Photo Opportunities
LOS ANGELES (April 6, 2010) – NBA Lakers’ Forward Ron Artest will make an appearance at new, health-conscious eatery Saladish on Saturday, April 10 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., located at 28901 S. Western Ave., Ranchos Palos Verdes, 90275. Artest will have lunch, sign autographs and take photos with fans, while helping to raise money for Best Friends Animal Society’s Los Angeles area programs. Saladish will donate fifty-percent of all net proceeds raised from sales on April 10 between the hours of 12:00 to 5:00pm, to Best Friends Animal Society.
Artest comments on his appearance at the event, “This is a great combination of two things I believe in – making healthy eating choices, and helping to raise awareness of the pet overpopulation crisis. Best Friends Animal Society is also very active in the Los Angeles area, helping to place homeless animals in loving, new homes.”
Saladish provides a wide array of salads, toppings, protein choices, wraps, sandwiches and soups, all custom-tailor made by professional “saladistas.”
