FanJam Emma Media and Project Hemoglobin-S, continues its 2010 fall fundraising season with a concert benefit - "The Burgundy Artist Showcase".  Experience the musical styling’s of emerging R&B, Jazz, Pop, and Hip Hop Artists in Los Angeles with special musical guests, Celebrity Host, spoken word, and special guest speaker Roger Brown, Director Of Development and Public Affairs at the Sickle Cell Disease Foundation Of California.  Other organizations invited include Black American Response to the African Community, The African American Unity Center, National Association for Sickle Cell Disease Inc., Sickle Cell Disease Research Foundation and many others!

"The Burgundy Artist Showcase" will take place at The Mint on Wednesday, December 22, 2010, 8:00 PM - 1:00 AM.  Located at 6010 West Pico Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90035, The Mint, established in 1937, is a local landmark. Many music greats have not only played here, but broke here. Stevie Wonder, Willie Dixon, Natalie Cole, Ray Charles and more have graced their seasoned stage. More recent prominent artists include Ben Harper, Macy Gray, and The Wallflowers.

In addition to live entertainment, the Burgundy Artist Showcase will also include a red carpet event, celebrity host, 50/50 raffle, silent auction featuring items by celebrity eyewear designer Stevie Boi, food and bar.  Reservations for dinner can be made in advanced with The Mint.

All tickets for The Burgundy Artist Showcase are $10.00.  Seating is limited and tickets may be purchased in advance at www.projecthemoglobin-s.org, or by phone at (310) 703-4237.


Project Hemoglobin S is a platform for Sickle Cell Patients their family and friends to use their voices to share with the world their collective individual experiences of stress, anxiety, depression, and quests for normalcy while uniting in the fight for a cure.  The Project Hemoglobin S campaign and Documentary’s mission is to raise awareness, erase the stigma, and erase the pain of Sickle Cell Disease by finding a cure. We are united to empower, educate, and inspire.
