The cuisine of India is as diversified as our states in the United States. The most popular dishes come from Northern and Southern India. Although I've dined at many Indian restaurants in Las Vegas and Los Angeles, Chakra creative Indian cuisine is unique, with its creative modern approach to cooking Indian cuisine.
Mohan Gopal, the executive chef at Chakra, is from Banglar India and has been emerged in the culinary field for 8 years. There are other factors however, which gives Charka the popularity it so well deserves. One is the atmosphere and secondly is its staff. Chakra, is of a contemporary design. There's a beautiful patio for outdoor dining, which one can observe upon entering the eatery. Inside, there's a beautiful cocktail lounge, and to the left is an impressive glass wall with a flowing waterfall, which separates the dining room from the entrance. With the beautiful patterns of browns highlighting the restaurant, there are cabanas tucked away to the left of the dining room. For those wishing to have a private dining affair, the cabanas are delightful. The other point of view is the banquet rooms. There are two intimate rooms, which are totally private, away from the dining area of the restaurant.http://www.blogger.com/post-create.g?blogID=7481836071736279627
All well run restaurants have a good management team. At Chakra, Vadivel Petumal, the General Manager and Anul Ezhilsrasan, the assistant manager are both congenial and run a well organized establishment. Enough already, now comes the journey for the succulent taste of Northern and Southern Indian cuisine. The Lamb pepper and Tandoori chicken are excellent choices. The curries, also an excellent choice, are another part of Indian cuisine. All this, along with the vegetable Biryani, which is hot, are part of the buffet, which is served from 11:30 am through 3 pm. Dinner is served from 5 to 10 pm and 5 to 11 on Friday and Saturday.
Reservations are suggested for diner Considering the presentation, atmosphere, and the quality of cuisine, the price of $15.00 for this type of buffet is very reasonable.
Unlike other Indian cuisine buffets, Chakra serves some excellent deserts. Lemon Bacardi Mousse and Sweet Pongola, made with rice, are traditional dishes from Southern India.Upon leaving Chakra, Ed Magik of Ed Magik TV, my guest, said he enjoyed the Lamb Pepper and the garlic nan bread. The dining experience overall, was a rewarding experience. Celebrity Scene News rates Chakra a 10.
